Storm Panels-Economical Hurricane Protection

Hurricane storm panels are available in either .050 aluminum or clear polycarbonate-(commonly referred to as Lexan)

Both types provide the same level of protection. Up to 170 mph wind and large missile impact protection. The main differences are:

Clear polycarbonate

• Water clear-allow light to enter your home
• Lighter than aluminum panels
• No sharp edges like aluminum panels

Aluminum panels

• Allow no light to enter your home
• Heavier than clear panels
• May be the only option for some openings
