Accordion Closing Procedure

SRQ Storm Protection HV Accordion Shutters

  1. Locate the nylon set screws on the locking rods. Loosen the set screws and move them up or down to disengage them from the tracks and retighten them so the curtain moves freely. Pull both sides of the accordion towards the center but do not lock the sides together.
  2. There are 2 locking rods on each curtain, left and right.
  3. The rods on the right side are now on the rear of the curtain. Pull that side all the way over to the center, loosen the set screws on the locking rods, and move them up or down as needed to engage them in the tracks, and retighten the set screws to lock them in place.
  4. Pull the left curtain over and engage the 2 center blades then push the lock button in to secure them. Then loosen the set screws and move the locking rods up or down until they engage in the tracks.
  5. Shutter is closed and locked.
